About Culture Office

A cultural institution that works in a complementary role with the council’s organizations to serve families on one hand, as it focuses on enhancing family values through theater, cinema, and the cultural salon. On the other hand, it aligns with the broader cultural orientation of the Emirate of Sharjah through specialized seminars, intellectual evenings, literary awards, and nurturing literary talents found in every family. In addition to various literary and cultural publications, and publishing the periodic electronic magazine “Marami,” which explores issues concerning women, children, and families, and covers vital topics of interest, such as health, education, and family relationships, in a journalistic style that resonates with all members of society.

In the Emirate of Culture, the radiant Emirate of Sharjah, the institutional cultural work finds its most clear expression, shaped and nurtured its elements and scenes by the pioneer of Arab culture, H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
